Lovely texture

This Matte top coat is really velvety and looks so smooth on! My only issue is it bubbled up a bit on one of my nails but not too noticable

Matte Top Coat

Anyone who knows me knows I am the Queen of gloss and glitter nails. I've always got something sparkly happening on my nails. But I had a thought.. so I got the matte top coat. What a life changer! I feel so sleek and fancy! Love this! It does heat up HOT in 1 second under the lamp so be careful for the first few seconds while curing. But its a great product! Love it!

It's great to hear how much you love your new Matte manicure! What you are experiencing is a 'heat spike'. The heat spike is a result of chemical bonds being formed during the curing process; this is called an exothermic reaction. Every time a bond is formed, heat is given off during the curing process. A certain amount of energy is used to create the bond and energy is given off after the bond is formed. The difference between the energy required and energy given off is felt as heat. When the energy is given off in a controlled way, you likely won’t feel any sensation at all. When the energy is given off more quickly, you may feel the heat. A thick or uneven coat may increase this heat sensation so you could try applying a thinner coat to limit the amount of heat that you may experience.
